As part of Copycow Records and the Cosmic Delay collective, he brings his unique blend of Indie Dance, Easy Listening/Eclectic, and Downtempo music to events around the world.
In his DJ sets, self-produced edits, self-recorded samples, and live instruments merge into a unique, often hypnotic sonic journey.
Influenced by travel and his 2o years of DJ experience, Neobeo enjoys creating genre-spanning soundscapes. His roots lie in the downtempo and chillout scene, always connected to a deep love of underground culture.
Whether mashing an electronic downtempo blues with a 80's synth punk cabaret or a post indie garage ballad with a balkan klezmer ambient symphony... Neobeo will take the crowd on a wild and unexpected ride.
For four years, he has curated the musical framework for the Winter Session at „Süss war gestern" in Berlin every other Thursday. His music has become increasingly danceable, with sets that combine elements of bass house, indie dance, dark disco, and melodic techno. He has also made a name for himself in renowned clubs and festivals.

From 2001 to 2005, he was part of Leviatan Records, then with Mental Arts Records Cologne until 2009.
Between 2005 and 2007, he wrote chillout reviews for Mushroom Magazine, an internationally acclaimed music magazine based in Hamburg. As a resident DJ, he worked at venues including Magic Park, La Muela, and Coco Loco Club in Goa, where he first came into contact with the Copycow crew.
In addition to his work as a DJ, he plays a variety of instruments, including various percussion instruments, guitar, piano and various wind instruments, such as the bansuri, which he studied for several months in northern India in 2009.
Since 2020, he has increasingly devoted himself to his own productions and has worked with artists such as Dole & Kom and James Rod.

Biographie
Neobeo ist das musikalische Alter Ego des Berliner Künstlers Martin Brune. Als Teil von Copycow Records und des Cosmic Delay Kollektivs bewegt er sich im Indie Dance, Eclectic sowie im Downtempo.
In seinen DJ-Sets verschmelzen selbstproduzierte Edits, selbstaufgenommene Samples und Live-Instrumente zu einer einzigartigen, oft hypnotischen Klangreise.
Beeinflusst durch Reisen sowie seine 2o Jährige DJ Erfahrung, erschafft Neobeo gerne genreübergreifende Klanglandschaften.
Seine Wurzeln liegen in der Downtempo- und Chillout-Szene, stets verbunden mit einer tiefen Liebe zur elektronischen Underground-Kultur.
Ob elektronischer Downtempo-Blues auf 80s Synth-Punk-Kabarett trifft oder eine Indie-Garage-Ballade in Balkan-Klezmer-Ambientsymphonien übergeht – Neobeo entführt das Publikum auf eine wilde und unerwartete Reise.
Seit vier Jahren kuratiert er den musikalischen Rahmen der Winter Session im Süss war gestern (Berlin) an jedem zweiten Donnerstag. Dabei zeigt er sich zunehmend tanzbar – mit Sets, die Elemente von Bass House, Indie Dance, Dark Disco und Melodic Techno vereinen. So hat er sich auch in renommierten Clubs und auf Festivals einen Namen gemacht.
Referenzen
Neobeos musikalische Geschichte reicht noch weiter zurück: Bereits Anfang der 90er spielte er Bassgitarre in verschiedenen Thrash-Metal-Bands, darunter Bullfrog Inc. und Napalm Alm.
Von 2001 bis 2005 war er Teil von Leviatan Records, anschließend bis 2009 bei Mental Arts Records Köln aktiv.Zwischen 2005 und 2007 schrieb er Chillout-Rezensionen für das Hamburger Mushroom Magazine, eine international beachtete Musikzeitschrift.
Als Resident-DJ arbeitete er unter anderem im Magic Park, dem La Muela sowie dem Coco Loco Club in Goa, wo er auch erstmals mit der Copycow-Crew in Kontakt kam.
Neben seiner DJ-Tätigkeit beherrscht er eine Vielzahl von Instrumenten, diverse Percussion-Instrumente, Gitarre, Klavier sowie verschiedene Windstrumente, wie die Bansuri, welche er 2009 in Nord Indien einige Monate studierte.
Seit 2020 widmet er sich vermehrt eigenen Produktionen und arbeitete u.a. mit Künstlern wie Dole & Kom sowie James Rod zusammen.
